Maritime Rescue has rescued two boats this Wednesday with a hundred people near the coasts of Lanzarote, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The first of the boats was detected by the SIVE 7 miles east of Lanzarote and was later intercepted by Maritime Rescue at 15:58 hours. 54 male immigrants of sub-Saharan origin were traveling in the pneumatic boat, all in apparent good health.
The second boat was carrying 49 people, two of them women, of Maghrebi and sub-Saharan origin.
