Maritime Rescue, alerted by the Civil Guard, has rescued in the last hours 59 people of Maghreb origin who were in an inflatable boat, whom it has disembarked in Lanzarote.
After the two boats that arrived on the same island during the weekend with 69 and 44 people, this morning another 59 have been disembarked in the port of its capital, Arrecife, as reported this Monday to EFE by a spokesperson for Maritime Rescue.
This is an expedition detected by the Civil Guard's radar at 5:30 p.m. this Sunday, when it was sailing 122.2 kilometers northeast of Arrecife, and whose members have stated, once on land, that they had departed from the Moroccan city of Guelmin, located southwest of that country, about 200 kilometers south of Agadir.
After being disembarked in Arrecife, two occupants of this inflatable boat had to be evacuated to a hospital, as reported by 112.
