The Lanzaroteño Mariano García Ramírez, one of the first players of UD Lanzarote, passed away this Sunday, June 28, in Arrecife after battling cancer.
García was one of the players who were part of the first squad of UD Lanzarote in the 1970-1971 season. This first squad was led by Antonio Collar Monterrubio and the assistant Román Cabrera Viera.
The wake will be held in room 3 of Mémora in Arrecife, from 1:30 PM until 12:00 PM this Monday the 29th, at which time the ceremony will take place.
