The family and friends of Arturo Rivas, the biker who died last December 29 in a traffic accident in Costa Tequise, will pay him a final tribute at the place where the accident occurred.

There they will install a plaque in his memory, and they will remember him with some words that a member of his family will say. The event will take place this Saturday, January 22, at 5:00 p.m. In addition, the meeting point is scheduled to be at the BP gas station in Valterra.

Arturo Rivas died at the age of 52, and his career was always linked to the world of motorcycles. His participation in the Spanish Motorcycling Championship in 1997 in Jerez stands out, as well as his presence in many other events.

It is not the first tribute that Rivas receives, who was one of the most prominent motorcycle riders in the Canary Islands, and especially in Lanzarote, since his fellow bikers said goodbye to him at the funeral.
