The State Meteorological Agency has issued an orange warning for this Sunday due to the waves in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
In this line, it has predicted that the orange warning will be maintained between 12:00 in the morning and until 20:00 due to adverse coastal phenomena.
The most affected area will be mainly the north and northwest of both islands. Thus, the waves can occasionally reach five meters throughout the afternoon.
Meanwhile, for this Saturday it has maintained the yellow warning for waves.
The entire Archipelago is on alert for waves since the night of last Friday. Thus, the Government of the Canary Islands has asked the population not to bathe on the beaches and avoid walking along the coasts until the alert ends.
