Lanzarote and La Graciosa are, for the moment, excluded from the yellow warnings for heat, waves and wind that the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has declared in five of the seven Canary Islands.

Specifically, the islands of La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro, Tenerife and Gran Canaria are on yellow alert for heat with temperatures that may reach 34 degrees from 11:00 a.m. this Monday until 8:00 p.m. of this same day. Likewise, this warning will be activated again on the island of Gran Canaria during this Tuesday.

In addition, the yellow warning for adverse coastal phenomena will also affect these islands with waves of up to two meters and northeast wind of 50 to 61 km/h (force 7) in the channels between islands. In the case of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, it will do so from 6:00 p.m. this Monday and in La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera it will be activated tonight, from 10:00 p.m.

On the other hand, the island of La Gomera will also be under yellow warning for wind from 8:00 p.m. this day, with gusts that can reach 70 kilometers per hour.
