Lanzarote has registered 5 new positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which 9 discharges have also been reported. Active cases have thus decreased to 73, four less than the previous day.
In the previous day, 476 tests were carried out on the island by the Canary Islands Health Service, although several correspond to immigrants who arrived in boats, whose possible positives are not included in the general statistics.
With this Thursday's data, the cumulative incidence at 7 days has dropped two and a half points and stands at 41.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. At 14 days, the drop has been more than three points, to stand at 66.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,712 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 6,589 have already overcome the disease and 51 have died.
