Lanzarote has added 20 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, registering an increase compared to the previous day, in which they had dropped to 15. And this despite the fact that this Wednesday 269 Covid tests were carried out on the island, 117 less than on Tuesday.
However, although daily cases have increased, 25 discharges have also been reported on the island, so active cases have decreased to 234. Of these, as of this Thursday morning, there were still eight patients hospitalized, four of them in the ICU, while the rest were in home isolation.
Regarding the cumulative incidence, at seven days it has decreased to 101.4 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, falling by more than six points compared to the previous day. In contrast, at 14 days it has increased slightly, from 195.1 to 195.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Lanzarote has already accumulated 5,319 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 48 died and 5,037 have already overcome the disease.
