The month of July has started with endless queues to be able to access the interior of Montañas del Fuego, the most visited Art, Culture and Tourism Center on the island, located within the Timanfaya National Park.
In the images disseminated by a reader, you can see hundreds of vehicles waiting, clogging the island road that connects Tinajo with Yaiza. It is not the first time that this scene has occurred on the island. Even, at the beginning of June, the Government of the Canary Islands demanded that the Cabildo de Lanzarote "urgently organize" access to this space.
This Tuesday, Civil Guard agents have had to move to the area.
For a year, tickets to access Montañas del Fuego cost 22 euros for adults, eleven euros for children between seven and twelve years old, as well as free for children under six years old. Meanwhile, Canarian residents pay 17.5 euros and Canarian children, 8.75.
As La Voz has verified, on the official website of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, the sale of tickets online appears available. In total, through the page you can purchase 250 daily tickets that allow guaranteed access to the center until 2:00 p.m. on the reserved day. At the moment, the option to book by time slots does not appear.
From this Tuesday until this Thursday, the access tickets to this part of the island's National Park are sold out, while for the weekend there are still some available.
