Car queues in Timanfaya

Timanfaya National Park has dawned this Wednesday with long queues of cars and tourists ready to visit it. Despite the increase in rates this January 2024 by the Tourist Centers, many are still willing to enjoy the natural and protected space.

As can be seen in the images that La Voz has had access to, the vehicles are piling up at the entrance of the natural park waiting to enter from the early hours of the morning. A snapshot very repeated during these months in the different tourist areas of Lanzarote, such as Caldera Blanca, El Volcán del Cuervo and Las Grietas.

"It's incredible that there are that many vehicles so early," said one reader. "It's something we have to live with almost every day," he added.

It is not the first time that the long queues that occur on the LZ-67 to access the entrance of the Mountains of Fire have been denounced. Already in January of this year, with the new rates in force, these traffic jams were also generated.
