The Hermine storm has already begun to be felt more significantly in Lanzarote this Sunday. Although until noon on Sunday the rains have been gradual and not excessively intense, the first important alterations have already occurred in the city of Arrecife, caused by the overflow of the sewage system.
The rain has been present during the night although no incidents have occurred, according to the Emergency Consortium. The intensity of the rain is expected to intensify during the afternoon.

According to Aemet, the island remains on yellow alert during Sunday, with the forecast of accumulated precipitation of 15 liters per square meter in one hour and 40 mm in 12 hours. Aemet maintains the yellow warning for rain for this Monday.
