As La Voz reported, the first two shipments were already fully administered in the residences of Haría, Las Cabreras, Tinajo and Tías and in the Insular Hospital, while the last 300 doses received will be administered from this Tuesday until Thursday, January 7.

Subsequently, following the strategy of the Ministry, the general population will be vaccinated, "but stratified by order of risk, that is, first those citizens who present some risk factor to suffer a serious coronavirus disease."

Aparicio detailed that the device for this phase was designed this Monday, with which "500 vaccinations a day, from Monday to Sunday" could be done, and with this "complete 70% of the population of Lanzarote by the end of July approximately." "But obviously, these data are subject to the rate at which we receive the vaccines," insisted the manager of Health Services on the island.
