Lanzarote starts the week with a yellow warning for wind and orange for coastal phenomena, and it is already starting to show in some parts of the island. In fact, in Haría gusts of up to 85 kilometers per hour have been recorded this Monday morning, even exceeding the Aemet's forecasts.

However, despite the wind and waves, the maritime lines that connect Lanzarote and La Graciosa continued to operate normally during the morning, and the boats depart from both ports at the scheduled times.

On the other hand, from the Security and Emergency Consortium they have indicated that the wind has caused the fall of cables in the town of Ye, in the northern municipality, and they expect that this Monday afternoon the wind may cause "some more incidents."

The municipality of Tías has also registered significant gusts of wind, reaching 78 kilometers per hour, and at the Aemet station located at the César Manrique airport, gusts of up to 67 kilometers per hour have been recorded.

According to the Agency, in Tinajo 65 kilometers per hour have been reached, while in Playa Blanca it has reached 55.

The State Meteorological Agency also announced rain during practically the entire week, although no warning has yet been activated for this, given that it is not expected to be of great intensity.
