The Archinech Easter Ranch of Tinajo traveled last weekend to Gran Canaria to participate in the Christmas Carol Meeting held in the parish church of San Antonio Abad in Tamaraceite.
An act that began with the entrance of the Archinech Easter Ranch of Tinajo playing and singing El Corrido, followed by the parish priest Victor Domínguez carrying the image of the Child Jesus in his hands. Once at the Main Altar, the Eucharist began in which the Archinech Ranch participated with the songs typical of these Christmas days. The parish priest was assisted by the Parochial Vicar, Gerardo Valbuena.
At the end of the Eucharist, the "Christmas Carol Meeting" began, which after a few years without being held was resumed and for this occasion included the Aythamy Groups of Tamaraceite, Rayco de Lomo los Frailes, El Sedal, Group of children of Catechesis and the Archinech Easter Ranch of Tinajo. The public that filled the three naves of the temple enjoyed each of the performances, rewarding them with their applause.
Once the meeting was over, the procession of the Child Jesus began inside the church. The image was in the hands of the parish priest Victor Domínguez followed by the Archinech Easter Ranch who was in charge of accompanying the entire route with their songs until reaching the Main Altar where each of the members of the Ranch began with the "Kiss the Foot of the Child Jesus", followed by all the parishioners gathered there.
Thus ending a very emotional day, especially for the parish priest Victor Domínguez, who was very excited to be able to share with the ranchers to whom he is united by a great friendship that arose during the 6 years he served as head in the parish of San Roque in Tinajo. The ranchers distinguished him by awarding him the Honorary Medal of the Ranch.
