The Ministry of Education and Universities of the Government of the Canary Islands has launched an open and urgent procedure tender for the lease of prefabricated modules for the Los Geranios School of Infant and Primary Education in Arrecife. The announcement was published this week in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) by the General Directorate of Educational Centers and Infrastructure of the Ministry.
This is a rental supply contract, without purchase option, of "new prefabricated modules, demountable and preferably storable in KIT" for the school in the capital of Lanzarote. The estimated value of this contract put out to tender is 136,800 euros plus IGIC.
Likewise, the deadline for the submission of offers will be 13:00 hours on the tenth calendar day from the day following the publication of the BOC. Those interested may submit the documentation relating to their offers in the General Registry of the Ministry of Education and Universities.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Education published in early June the call to contract the expansion works of the center. Some works, with an initial budget of 942,049.84 euros without IGIC, which will provide the center of Arrecife with eight new classrooms for children, a multipurpose room and improvements in the dining room and kitchen.
