The long wait is finally over. A total of 743 young people from Lanzarote will face one of the tests that could determine their work and professional future between this Wednesday and Saturday: the EBAU, formerly known as PAU and Selectividad.

High school students from the science branch showed up early in the morning at the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe and the IES César Manrique to kick off with the Spanish language exam, followed by the language exam at 12:00 and the history exam at 16:00.

For their part, students corresponding to the arts, humanities and social sciences branch will have one more day to prepare for these tests, since they will take these exams this Thursday. The remaining two days, June 10 and 11, they will have to take the tests of subjects from the optional or specific phase to raise the average grade.

The provisional grades for this call will be available online from 12:00 on June 17, at which time the claim period will also begin and will last until June 21.

In addition, for those interested in staying to study a university degree in Lanzarote, the cut-off mark for the Nursing Degree is currently 11.491 points and for the Tourism Degree it is 5 points. All cut-off marks can be found on the website of the Government of the Canary Islands.
