This Thursday, the businessman from Lanzarote, Miguel Míguez, owner of [Construcciones Míguez Lanzarote S.L->https://www.lavozdelanzarote.com/El-Ayuntamiento-de-Arrecife,21974], chained himself to the door of the Caja Rural in front of the Casino Club Naútico to denounce that one of the workers of the bank allegedly owes him money in a personal capacity.
He has remained chained to the door of the office as a measure of pressure, displaying a sign stating that one of the office workers owes him 200,000 euros. He has been accompanied in his demonstration by employees of his company who have had to be laid off due to the businessman's lack of liquidity.
To evict him, the intervention of the National Police and the Fire Department was required, who were in charge of cutting the chains to remove him from the place. The police officers took him to the police station for disturbing public order but, once the detainee made a statement, he was released because it was a civil matter.
