Comisiones Obreras (CCOO) has denounced that the security systems company SH Lanzarote, as of December 17, has not yet paid the November payroll to its workers.

In addition, the union points out that the company "for several months" has not complied with the payment date of the payrolls, "exceeding the payment date beyond the 10th of each month".

According to Comisiones Obreras, this situation has caused "discomfort" and "consequences" to the workers. In addition, CCOO maintains that the company's management informed them that the delay "would be temporary", in a meeting held with them. However, and "incomprehensibly", they have failed to comply with what was agreed "in the middle of December" again.

Also, the union shows its "surprise" that the company does not pay the salaries to its workers "at the same time that it publishes job offers."

From the union they point out that the workers have been "up to the task", maintaining a patience "to be praised". "What we cannot continue to allow is for them to laugh at our colleagues," they sentence from CCOO.

For this reason, Comisiones Obreras has called a meeting of the Works Committee and the workers' assembly for next Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the union headquarters. There, under prior agreement with those affected, "the necessary measures will be taken to prevent the violation of the rights of workers," not ruling out "rallies and strike calls, among others."
