The Department of Festivities of the San Bartolomé City Council has informed citizens that, due to the International Women's Day strike on March 8, the Carnival events scheduled for that day in Playa Honda have been postponed to Friday the 15th.
Specifically, at 5:00 p.m. on March 15, the parade and burial and burning of the Guachinango will take place in the town, starting from the Guacimeta esplanade to travel along Playa Honda Avenue and end at Playa Chica or Playa del Curita.
Afterwards, there will be performances by the children's murgas participating in the parade and a masquerade dance enlivened by DJ Maxi Ferrer and the Rika Banda Orchestra until 2:00 a.m.
