Carla Rodríguez was elected Miss Tinajo 2019 this Saturday at a gala held on the occasion of the La Vegueta festivities. The mayor of the municipality, Jesús Machín, presented her with the sash while Nayara Iglesias, Miss Tinajo 2018, passed on the crown.
In this beauty contest, Yadira Machín was also recognized, who won the crown of Miss La Vegueta 2019. The Councilor for Culture, Elisabeth Olivero, was in charge of putting on the sash and Arina Alonso, Miss Vegueta 2018, imposed the crown. Yazmina Caridad became Queen of the Fiestas de Regla and it was the Councilor for Festivities, Jonathan Pérez, who placed the sash on her.
Finally, the jury awarded Lina Brañas the title of First Lady of Honor to whom the Councilor for Tourism, Joel Arbelo, placed the sash and Keila Rodríguez obtained the title of Second Lady whose sash was placed by Yurena Cubas, Councilor for Security of the City Council.
After the celebration of the contest, the residents of La Vegueta were able to enjoy a festival enlivened by the Rikabanda orchestra and DJ Ale Ossorio, within a festival that began on June 24 and will continue until July 13.,
