Binter has reported that operations at Tenerife Norte airport have been reactivated from 2:00 p.m. this Friday, “given the improvement in weather conditions due to the recent behavior of the ash cloud.”

Therefore, connections between Lanzarote and Tenerife Norte have also been reactivated, after three flights were canceled on this day, including the one scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The first to take off from César Manrique airport to Tenerife Norte did so after 3:00 p.m., being the one that was scheduled for 11:15 a.m., which had to be rescheduled..

In a statement, the company explains that it has proceeded to reactivate the operation of this airport by reinforcing on Friday afternoon “the number of flights using all available aircraft”, once the conditions are met to carry out the flights safely. However, Binter predicts that, given the complexity of the situation, “delays in operations may occur”.

Regarding La Palma, the company recalls that “connections with this island have been interrupted until Saturday, October 9, at 1:00 p.m.”.
