Arrieta successfully concludes the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Carmen. A week of celebrations culminates with mass, procession, and gala on La Garita beach, highlighting community involvement and the roots of traditions.

The Haría Town Council concluded this Sunday, July 27, the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Carmen in the town of Arrieta, after a week of activities aimed at all audiences, which included games, workshops, contests and musical performances, among others.

The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, highlighted the involvement of citizens and the importance of keeping traditions alive. “These festivities reflect the roots of our customs. I want to congratulate the exemplary behavior of the residents, as well as those who have visited us during these celebrations,” he said.

For his part, the Councilor for Festivities, Alberto de León, valued the joint work to carry out the program. “Thanks to the Festival Committee, the neighborhood associations, the municipal staff, the security forces and collaborating entities for their dedication and effort, making these festivals a success,” he added.

The closing day began with the mass in honor of the patron saint, which included the participation of the singer Iris del Mar. Next, the traditional maritime and land procession was held, accompanied by the municipal band of San Bartolomé, which toured both the streets and the coast of Arrieta.

At night, the festivity culminated with the End of the Party Gala held on La Garita beach, which was attended by residents and visitors.
