Arrecife hosts the sixth edition of the 'Stockazo' discount fair

The center of Arrecife will host the sixth commercial exhibition of opportunities 'Stockazo' this Friday and Saturday, which offers discounts of at least "30%" and "itinerant shows for the whole family". It is celebrated with the aim of "promoting the revitalization of local commerce and encouraging consumption", as reported by the Island Consortium.

This event, which takes place during business hours, is organized by the Commerce departments of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, represented by Ariagona González; and the City Council of Arrecife, led by Isabel Mesa. Both have invited citizens to participate in this activity that they say strengthens "the commercial structure of the capital of the island, which is fundamental for the economy."

In this sense, Ariagona González has insisted that "this activity, like so many others that we organize, is framed in the commercial revitalization plans of the Cabildo de Lanzarote." "Our objective is to do two samples throughout the year, always with the approval and adhering to the calendar of the shops in the downtown area of Arrecife, with whom we have met to gather their concerns and translate them into the programming," added the councilor of the Consortium.

For her part, Isabel Mesa has highlighted that it is "a consolidated act and valued by merchants", as "demonstrated" in the evolution of the event since its first edition. "The first 'Stockazo', which was held in November 2013, was joined by 80 stores. In 2017, about 200 have joined. This shows that our commitment to revitalization has repercussions and generates benefits for the city's merchants and gives advantages to consumers," said the representative of the City Council.
