The residents of Argana Alta have been enjoying a wide program of events on the occasion of the festivities in honor of Our Lady. Mary Help of Christians. At 5:00 p.m. this Friday they met in the church to celebrate their patron saint and participate in the Eucharist that was presided over by the parish priest, José Antonio Molina Nieto.

The songs were enlivened by the Parish Choir of San Francisco Javier to which the voices of the parishioners who filled the parish facilities to participate in the great day in honor of Our Lady Mary Help of Christians also joined.

On the walls of the church hang since this Friday the 14 paintings of the "Via Crucis", where the crucial moments of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ are reflected. These images, commonly called stations, are a form of devotion and meditation that recall the path that Christ followed to his crucifixion and burial culminating in his resurrection. The "Via Crucis" was blessed by the presiding priest of the celebration José Antonio Molina Nieto.

After the Eucharist, the procession began, led by the Music Band "La Unión Musical de Lanzarote", followed by the image of the Virgin, the boys and girls who this year have received their First Communion. The celebrating priest, municipal authorities and parishioners toured the streets near the parish complex.
