Another person has died with Covid in Lanzarote, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, which indicates that it is pending validation by the General Directorate of Public Health.

With this, there are already five deaths registered this week on the island - which has added one daily since Tuesday - and eight since the end of December, when the sixth wave of the pandemic broke out.

Lanzarote already accumulates 62 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. The last death had been reported this Friday, a 61-year-old man who was admitted to the Molina Orosa plant.
