Last night, the fourth of the five E195-E2 model aircraft ordered by Binter from the manufacturer Embraer landed at Gran Canaria airport. The plane, which will be named Lanzarote, will soon join the operation of the Canarian airline and will cover national, international routes and some "high demand routes between the islands".

According to the company, "this is an aircraft model with great acceptance among the airline's customers due to its characteristics and performance." The E195-E2 is a "very quiet, clean and efficient single-aisle" jet, which provides passengers with a very comfortable experience, since the aircraft, with a configuration of 132 seats, has a distance of 31 inches between the rows to improve the comfort of its occupants," Binter points out.

In addition, it adds that "the plane also incorporates important improvements, which allow the reduction of fuel consumption", and that "it is considered the most ecological plane in its class and has the lowest levels of noise and external emissions."

For her part, the president of the Island Council, María Dolores Corujo, has expressed her satisfaction and thanked the airline for "baptizing" one of the new planes with the name of the island. "The growth of the company is, and will be even more so now, synonymous with the growth of Lanzarote, and its recognition as an attractive destination for all visitors," Corujo added.

"It is a pride for us that Binter takes the name of the Island outside of the Canary Islands and Spain and we will continue to welcome the airline with the same closeness and affection to convey our gratitude for this gesture," the president stressed.
