Aena has installed a total of 25 drinking water dispensers in the boarding areas of the eight Canary Island airports, "as part of the quality plan and improvements to the services provided to passengers and users."
This was stated by the entity in a statement, which specifies that 4 of these dispensers have been placed at the Lanzarote airport. Specifically, 3 in Terminal 1 and one more in T2.
At Gran Canaria Airport, 5 drinking water dispensers have been placed (1 in inter-island departures and 4 in national and international departures); in Tenerife South another 5; in Fuerteventura, four; 3 in Tenerife North (one in operation and two being installed); 2 in La Palma; 1 in El Hierro and 1 in La Gomera.
