The swell does not give Lanzarote a break and forces the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) to establish new warnings. Specifically, there will be two yellow warnings for this Friday and Saturday on the island.
The first will begin at 09:00 in the morning of this Friday, March 1, where a combined northeast sea with waves of between four and five meters is expected. In this case it will extend until dawn on Friday itself.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the swell will remain throughout the morning until 11:00 a.m. on the day, also with waves that will reach five meters. In both cases, the probability of this phenomenon occurring is between 40 and 70%.
