Lanzarote has once again registered another Covid peak, with 119 positives reported in the last day. This has also triggered active cases, which once again exceed 600 by far. Specifically, Health places them this Thursday at 634, compared to 538 on Wednesday, since only 23 discharges have been counted.
This is the third worst figure since the end of January, when the sixth wave began to subside. Since then, only on three days has the island exceeded one hundred new cases in a day.
In relation to the number of tests carried out, a total of 555 were carried out in Lanzarote this Wednesday, a figure considerably higher than the previous day, when only 199 were carried out.
The accumulated incidence in Lanzarote is currently 247 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it is 467.23.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 20,077 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 19,375 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
