About thirty towns in Lanzarote, affected by the water cuts this Thursday

Water cuts that the company says are due to the suspension of electricity supply announced by Endesa

Around 30 towns in Lanzarote are without water this Thursday. Canal Gestión announced it this Tuesday night, attributing these water cuts to the interruption of the electricity supply scheduled by Endesa for "the improvement works" being carried out at the Díaz Rijo Desalination Plant.

In the northern area of Lanzarote, specifically the town of Haría, Máguez, Órzola, Ye, Guinate, Arrieta and Punta Mujeres will be the areas that will suffer water cuts throughout the day. As for the central area, La Villa de Teguise, Tahíche, Teseguite, Nazaret, Guatiza, El Mojón, Mozaga, Tiagua, Muñique and Soo, will also be affected by the suspension of supply throughout this Thursday.

Water cuts to which are also added San Bartolomé, Montaña Blanca and Guime, areas that will continue without water supply. In the southern part of the island, Tías, Puerto del Carmen, Mácher, Conil and Masdache will also experience this lack of water. In addition, the citizens of Yaiza, Uga and Maciot will be the most affected by the cuts announced by Canal Gestión.

In addition, on this occasion there will also be a lack of water in the capital of Lanzarote, specifically in the center and downtown of Arrecife.
