A section of Fred Olsen Avenue in Arrecife has been closed to traffic this Tuesday. The closure occurs after passing Guenia Street until reaching Coronel Idelfonso Valls de la Torre Street, which has led to a change of direction on some roads to allow mobility.

Thus, and after the reopening to traffic of Manolo Millares Street, vehicles accessing Fred Olsen Avenue at the height of the Cabildo de Lanzarote will be able to continue until being diverted by Guenia Street, which will be two-way and will allow to enter and exit the maritime avenue to Manolo Millares and vice versa.

However, to continue along Avenida de la Mancomunidad, drivers will have to divert to Manolo Millares and re-enter through Coronel Idelfonso Valls de la Torre Street, which changes direction. Also, Almirante Boado Endeiza Street now connects the area of the Gran Hotel in the direction of Manolo Millares Street.

These works are part of the modernization and pedestrianization plan of Fred Olsen Avenue.
