Despite the improvement in the data of daily infections and accumulated incidence on the island, the fight against Covid-19 continues at the Molina Orosa Hospital, where a new admission to the Intensive Care Unit took place this Wednesday.

With the new patient, there are now three people who remain in the ICU. The other two have been there for almost a month - one for 26 days and the other for 28 - and have already tested negative for the virus, but are still fighting against the consequences of the disease, which in many cases is complicated by other previous pathologies.

All three hospitalized patients are between 69 and 80 years old, and the last one entered through the Emergency Room and was referred directly to the ICU.

Where there are no Covid patients this Thursday is on the ward, after the last hospital discharges a few days ago.
