The young man from Lanzarote, Gorka Aranzábal, at just 13 years of age, has managed to get the largest video game sales platform in the world for PC, STEAM, to publish his game 'Bromeliad', a survival video game in an open world like Rust and Ark.

Gorka Aranzábal started in the world of video game development at no less than eight years old. He learned to create them, first with Unreal and years later, with Unity. All this time of learning and effort bore its first fruits in 2019, with the publication of the game for mobile devices 'Patuke' (available on Google Play). A multiplayer title that mixed elements of Fortnite and Brawl Stars.

In this 2021, this young man from Lanzarote has taken the big leap, as he has just launched his first video game on PC 'Bromeliad', which has already achieved international sales, in countries such as the USA, Australia and Germany, in its first hours of launch. This is the story of Gorka Games Studios, a small video game creation studio founded by a kid when he was only 11 years old and which today is made up of two people.

Gorka also showed initiative and perseverance by giving his first conference in 2019, before more than 300 people, as the youngest entrepreneur at an event in Spain. In his talks, in addition to explaining what the development of a video game is like from the inside, he explains its evolution and how his passion for video games is leading him towards a promising future.

His recently published title, 'Bromeliad', is set on a Pacific island and its promoters argue that it has nothing to envy from those created by other professional indie studios. Not only does it stand out in its graphic section, but it also allows the change of perspective between first and third person, "a characteristic that is sometimes lacking in some triple A's". The game combines a crafting and survival system with an interesting story in which you have to find out what is happening on the mysterious island, where the player becomes a bear-man.

The player will have to get materials to build weapons, shelters and tame both animals and strange creatures, to defend themselves from enemies. The goal is to survive and return to normal by becoming a human again. A challenge with which to immerse yourself in paradisiacal landscapes of spectacular beaches, dangerous jungles and mysterious areas with volcanic activity, all with impressive graphics of realistic immersion.
