25 people participated in an initiation to climbing day in the area known as "Los Bolos", within the Natural Park of the Volcano of La Corona. This second activity in nature was held on March 29 and all the places offered by the Department of Sports of San Bartolomé were filled. The objective, according to the City Council, is that "the neighbors participate not only in an outdoor activity but also start or improve in speleology, hiking, climbing, initiation to diving, multi-adventure trip and initiation to mountaineering".
Until December, the City Council has organized different activities. Those who want to register can go to the offices of the Department of Sports (located in the Municipal Sports Center of San Bartolomé or by calling 928 520 415), or in the Municipal Offices located in Playa Honda (C/ Merlín, s/n or by calling 928 820 308).
