The Lanzarote photographer Juan Méndez has once again shown his talent for capturing moments. This time, he has managed to record with his camera the lunar eclipse that took place last Friday from the north of the island, in the area of the military base.
Despite the uncertainty regarding the weather forecast and the possibility that the clouds would not allow the lunar eclipse to be seen, Méndez made use of his patience and confidence to immortalize this astronomical event.
"Upon arriving at the place, the sky was covered, opening and closing unexpectedly," he says on his Instagram profile. "I had a plan B, but I decided to stay and wait, having faith until the last moment. The nerves led me to move at the last minute and do the time-lapse twice," continues the photographer.
