The talent of artist Álvaro Varela has managed to recreate Charco de Los Clicos in the form of a painting in which he has reflected every detail of this mythical landscape of Lanzarote, from the sea waves and through the black volcanic sand to the green color of the lake itself
Varela has been showing the creation process on Instagram and TikTok in several videos, from the beginning with the polystyrene to make the base to the work with paint and resin to create the details of the water and sea foam
As he explained to La Voz, it normally takes him "about two weeks to make them, although this particular one took three due to the complexity of the landscape." The artist says he has not been to Lanzarote, although he has been to Lanzarote.
"This painting was commissioned by a girl from the Canary Islands who moved to Malaga and wanted to have her favorite piece of Lanzarote on the mainland," she revealed. In addition, he creates the paintings by commission through his Instagram profile, where he has a pinned post with all the information about it. "They can contact me there or by WhatsApp (619677349) although next year I will have the website ready and it will be the official way to contact," he concluded
