A 31-year-old man has suffered mild smoke inhalation poisoning in the fire that took place in the kitchen of a single-family home on Polca Street in Puerto del Carmen. The fire took place at approximately 04:00 this Thursday when several calls alerted the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, reporting the fire.
An ambulance with basic life support from the SUC, firefighters from the Security Consortium, Civil Protection, Local Police, and Civil Guard have been dispatched to the scene.
The firefighters from the island Consortium have extinguished the flames that apparently started in an appliance and spread to the rest of the kitchen.
For its part, the SUC health personnel provided initial assistance to the affected individual, as well as their subsequent transfer to Molina Orosa.
The police services have taken charge of the corresponding procedures.
