Firefighters rescued a 40-year-old woman in the early morning hours who was trapped on a rooftop in Arrecife. The rescue took place around 1:17 a.m. this Thursday, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium.
The woman was on the second floor of the MediaMarkt on Iguazú Street in the capital's Argana neighborhood.
The Local Police were in charge of notifying the firefighters, who traveled to the area to bring the affected woman down. A firefighter and an officer accessed the store's terrace to bring the woman down with an aerial ladder.
