The woman who disappeared on Thursday afternoon in Playa Blanca, Beatriz Elena Casierra, has been found this Friday. This was confirmed by a family member in statements to La Voz.
Her family activated all the alarms after she was last seen in the vicinity of the Aqualava water park in Playa Blanca.
The woman herself was in charge of contacting her family and was later located in the vicinity of the Flamingo hotel in the tourist town of Yaiza.
This past Thursday afternoon, she should have taken a bus after leaving work at a hotel in the area to her home in Arrecife, but her trail was lost around 5:10 p.m.
Casierra was transferred to the hospital, where she is currently accompanied by her family and the Civil Guard. The SOSDesaparecidos platform has deactivated the search alarm, which it had classified as "of high vulnerability."
