A woman was slightly injured in a collision between a car and a truck that took place this Thursday on the LZ-701, at the entrance to the Playa Blanca industrial area.
The accident occurred at around 8:15 a.m., with firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium, Civil Guard officers, Local Police, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) traveling to the area.
SUC paramedics assisted the driver of the car, who had mild whiplash, and evacuated her to the Molina Orosa Hospital. For their part, the firefighters were in charge of cleaning the road since, as a result of the accident, oil had spilled on it.
