Two vehicles collided on Sunday afternoon on Pechiguera Avenue, in Playa Blanca. The accident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. and the drivers of both cars were slightly injured. A car involved in the accident ended up embedded against a plant in the median.
Local Police of Yaiza, Civil Protection and personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) attended the emergency. The causes of the accident are under investigation, according to the City Council.
On the other hand, Civil Protection personnel from Yaiza secured several metal sheets from the fence of a plot of land, which came off this Sunday due to the strong wind near the Pechiguera Lighthouse, in Playa Blanca.
