Two cars have been left completely burnt out and a third one has been damaged in a fire that broke out on Saturday morning, around 9:15 AM, at the end of Gaida street, at the point where it joins Salinas street, in Puerto del Carmen.
According to neighbors of the area who have told La Voz, shortly before the flames spread, two loud noises were heard, similar to gunshots, after which emergency sirens began to be heard.
The fire has fully affected two vehicles that were parked on the public road, leaving them totally burnt out. A third car has suffered considerable damage. In addition, the wall of the house located opposite the cars has also been affected as a consequence of the intensity of the fire.
After receiving the alert from Cecoes, members of the Emergency Consortium with three fire trucks have moved to the scene, as well as agents of the Local Police who have collaborated in the security tasks.
