Two people injured after being run over at the Villa de Teguise street market

The events occurred while the vehicle was reversing in Viera y Clavijo street at 1:50 p.m.

A bus has run over two people this Sunday at the street market of Villa de Teguise. According to reports from Civil Protection and confirmed by the Emergency Coordinating Center (CECOES), the events occurred in the bus parking area of the street market, while the vehicle was reversing.

Alerted by the Local Police of Teguise, Civil Protection personnel went to the scene and worked jointly with Emerlan. After them, a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service arrived.

The accident occurred on Viera y Clavijo street at 1:50 p.m. this Sunday, and the injured are a man and a woman of whom no further details have been released. After being run over by the bus, they were treated by the SUC and transported to Hospiten with various injuries.
