The Civil Guard of San Bartolomé arrested in the early morning of the 5th two people with initials S.D. and A.B., 38 and 27 years old and numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of three theft crimes committed moments before in some apartments in La Santa.
According to the Benemérita, a patrol went to the place the same morning, after receiving the notice from one of the victims of the thefts, who told the agents that while he was sleeping moments before in his room -located on a ground floor- someone had entered it, telling the agents that they would surely have accessed through the terrace door, since he had left it open.
The alleged perpetrators of the thefts had also acted in two other apartments, where they stole mainly mobile and computer devices.
It was precisely thanks to one of those devices and the corresponding application for its location that one of the victims indicated to the agents the place where they could be found. These saw that it was a nearby livestock facility, where they went and, after the permission of the owner of the place, accessed and surprised S.D. and A.B. with the stolen objects, which were later recognized by their legitimate owners.
Immediately, the agents arrested S.D. and A.B. as alleged perpetrators of three theft crimes, who have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court in Arrecife.
