Two National Police officers saved the life of a three-year-old child who went into cardiorespiratory arrest in the vicinity of the La Fermina islet, in Arrecife. They heard cries for help coming from a nearby restaurant, where the little boy had lost consciousness. The little boy was urgently transferred by them to a hospital in the capital, where he was resuscitated and stabilized by specialized personnel.

On February 16, two National Police officers who were patrolling the surroundings of the La Fermina islet heard cries for help coming from a nearby restaurant, where the little boy had lost consciousness.

Due to the seriousness of the situation, the national police officers decided not to wait for the ambulance to arrive and transferred him to a hospital in the capital, but a few meters from it the little boy went into cardiorespiratory arrest. Specialized medical personnel then took care of the minor, resuscitating and stabilizing him.

On March 3, the little boy, invited by the National Police, went with his parents to the Arrecife Police Station, where he was received by the agents who assisted him.
