A man and a woman, both around 25 years old, have been injured after falling from the motorcycle they were traveling on the LZ-2, near the El Cable bridge.

According to a witness to the accident, the driver lost control of the motorcycle when he was about to take the curve in that area, causing both of them to fall onto the road.

The witness was the first to attend to those affected, and according to what she told La Voz, the motorcyclist suffered injuries to one of his legs, with an apparent fracture, and to one of his wrists, since he was the one who suffered the most from the impact against the ground. The companion, on the other hand, suffered scratches on one of her legs.

The two affected have been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital in an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service.

The Traffic Civil Guard and the Local Police of Arrecife have moved to the scene. The latter have cut off the exit from the roundabout that goes southbound, which has caused traffic jams at the exit of Arrecife.
