Two women were injured in the head-on collision on the LZ-40 in the municipality of Tías, as reported by CECOES.

The accident occurred at about 11:17 p.m. this Monday, when 112 was alerted. Two ambulances, one medicalized and one with basic life support, Local Police, Civil Guard and the Emergency Consortium went to the scene.

The health personnel attended to the two affected, a woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented cervicalgia and thoracic and abdominal pain of a moderate nature and the affected woman presented trauma to the arms and legs of a moderate nature. Both injured were transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The firefighters were in charge of cleaning the road and neutralizing the risk of slipping, in addition to disconnecting the batteries of both vehicles involved. For its part, the Civil Guard instructed proceedings.
