Two men were arrested for the fire that affected four vehicles in the Arrecife marina last week, after the National Police investigation concluded that it had been provoked.
As confirmed by the police force, the two men were also arrested for a violent robbery of a homeless person that occurred on the same night. After being brought to justice, their provisional imprisonment was ordered.
The fire in the Arrecife marina took place in the early hours of last Friday and, as a result, three vehicles were completely burned and another partially. In addition, the fire caused a fuel spill.
The firefighters were in charge of extinguishing the fire, after which an investigation was opened by the National Police to determine if it had been intentional.
