The Civil Guard of Costa Teguise arrested two people between June 7 and 8 as alleged perpetrators of a crime of theft and another of damage for the robbery in a supermarket in the town of Nazaret, which occurred on May 29. According to the Benemérita, the detainees have numerous police records for crimes against property.

The robbery was committed in broad daylight and while the establishment was open to the public, around 4:00 p.m. According to the complaint, one of the assailants entered the premises and took a cash register "with its corresponding collection of 200 euros in cash" and caused damage to a scanner valued at another 200 euros. Afterwards, he got into a vehicle driven by a second person, who was waiting for him to flee.

According to the statements of the robbery witnesses, the images collected in the establishment's video-surveillance system and another series of police procedures, the agents of the Investigation Area were able to identify and locate the alleged perpetrators. The detainees have been placed at the disposal of the corresponding Arrecife Duty Court.
