A truck suffered a fire this Thursday in the heart of Puerto del Carmen. The incident occurred at 1:27 p.m. on Roque del Este street, where the cab of the vehicle burned completely.
Personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium traveled to the scene, alerted by CECOES 1-1-2. Upon arrival, they verified that the fire only affected the truck's cab, which was completely engulfed in flames.
The intervention was carried out in coordination with the Local Police of Tías and the Civil Guard, who facilitated access and the operation of the operation. The firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire, first using water and then foam, to ensure the total suppression of the flames. No injuries have been reported in the incident.
